Scholarships / Fellowships:
The first address to contact regarding questions of financial support for study or research in Germany is the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Their scholarship programs cover research grants, study visits, university summer course grants as well as postgraduate degree courses. In general, also the costs for a flight ticket are covered by the various scholarships.
